Student Exchange

Come and make the most of your exchange period at Savonia University of Applied Sciences! If you are interested in coming to Savonia, first contact the International Office at your own university. The process will continue from there. The studies you complete during your exchange period will be compensated according to the home university’s curriculum and the learning agreement.

Each school of Savonia UAS has appointed an International Coordinator who guides and helps the students in questions concerning going abroad and coming to Savonia UAS.

Academic calendar

Autumn semester: Sept-December
Spring semester: Jan-May

Please note that due to the corona virus outbreak, changes may still occur. It is advisable not to book your flights or accommodation until Savonia has confirmed that it can host exchange students during the autumn semester 2020.

Before arrival

Incoming students on arrival must have the following necessary documents:

  • Identification Card for citizens of the European Union and associated countries or valid passport for citizens of all other countries
  • European Health Insurance Card or valid Medical Insurance
  • Official Transcript of Records from Home University
  • CV
  • Motivation letter
