Savonia University of Applied Sciences is an Institution of Higher Education which offers degree programmes in Finnish in six fields of study. In 2021, Savonia will offer four Bachelor programmes and two Master degrees taught in English:

Altogether nearly 6,000 students representing over 20 nationalities study at Savonia UAS. Savonia UAS campuses are located in three cities in eastern Finland: Kuopio, Varkaus and Iisalmi. Students can either study for a full Bachelor or Master's degree at Savonia UAS or study on exchange programmes. The schools organise also several short courses and modules in which the language of tuition is English.

Exchange programmes at Savonia UAS are for students from Savonia UAS's international partner institutions. Students who wish to study at Savonia UAS on exchange programmes - such as Erasmus, Nordplus or Bilateral Agreement - should turn to the international office at their home institution in order to be selected into a programme before filling in the application to Savonia UAS.

Savonia UAS

Savonia is one of Finland's biggest and most versatile universities of applied sciences. Our campuses are situated in Kuopio, Iisalmi and Varkaus. There are almost 6000 students and 600 employees at Savonia. In education we implement Open Innovation Space (OIS), where we combine learning, development, research, and teaching.
