Mervi Vidgrén elected as Savonia’s next president

PhD Mervi Vidgrén was elected as Savonia’s next president at the Federation Council’s meeting on 19 June. She is currently the Vice President in charge of education.

The Federation Council made the unanimous decision after having compared the applicants’ merits, interviewed them and evaluated their suitability. Vidgrén shall embark on her task on 1 October 2013. At the same time, the Council decided that the President of Savonia University of Applied Sciences will act as the Director of the Municipal Federation.
