UArctic certificateInternational partnership collaboration is based on either bilateral agreements or networking. Aim of these partnerships is to increase and strengthen the collaboration in order to enable student and teacher mobility as well as develop the R&D activities.


Savonia UAS is a member of thematics networks of UArctic, CDIO and Florence. Savonia coordinates a FIRST+ network with its Russian partners and carries out Nordic-Baltic mobility activities within several Nordplus networks. The DigiCenter North Savo project coordinated by Savonia is also part of the EU's Digital Innovation Hub network.

Savonia UAS

Savonia is one of Finland's biggest and most versatile universities of applied sciences. Our campuses are situated in Kuopio, Iisalmi and Varkaus. There are almost 6000 students and 600 employees at Savonia. In education we implement Open Innovation Space (OIS), where we combine learning, development, research, and teaching.
