A student has to enrol for attendance or non-attendance each academic year in accordance with the procedure and deadline determined by Savonia University of Applied Sciences. If a student fails to enrol, he or she will lose his/her study right (L 932/2014).
A new student enrols as present or absent when claiming her/his study right at studyinfo.fi or by sending the confirmation form to Savonia UAS.
A continuing student enrols as present or absent each academic year according to the procedures of the University of Applied Sciences. The obligation to enrol applies also to those students who are close to finishing their studies, irrespective of the amount of studies they are left with.
If you have enrolled attendance for at least one semester, enrol for the academic year 2018 - 2019 in Wilma during the time from 19 February to 10 September 2018. Please check that your contact information is up to date in Wilma.
If you have postponed the beginning of your studies, enrolment in Wilma is not possible. You can enrol by sending email to Student Services at email@example.com by 15 April 2018.
You can change your enrolment status for the spring semester 2019 during the time from 1 November 2018 to 15 January 2019 in Wilma.

If you have started your studies before 1 August 2015, you are entitled to enrol non-attendance for a maximum time period of two academic years (four semesters). You do not have to give reasons for enrolling as absent and the time of your non-attendance will not shorten the time of your study right.
If you have started your studies after 1 August 2015, you are entitled to enrol non-attendance for the first study year provided you are
These reasons will not shorten the time of your study right. However, if needed you have to be able to provide proof of the reasons for enrolling as absent. If you are absent during your first study year due to military or non-military service or women’s voluntary military service or you are on maternity, paternity or parental leave, you are entitled to enrol as absent for another academic year (two semesters) for any reason during the time of your study right. However, if you are absent during your first study year due to your illness or disability, enrolling as absent later will shorten the time of your study right.
If you started your studies after 1 August 2015 and enrolled attendance for the first academic year, you are entitled to enrol non-attendance for a maximum time period of one academic year (two semesters) for any reason during the time of your study right.
During the time of non-attendance, studies cannot be registered and you are not eligible for financial aid, meal subsidy or other student benefits (e.g. travel discounts). If you enrol non-attendance, please remember to cancel Kela student financial aid and enrol on time for the next academic year. When you resume your studies after being absent, update your individual study and career plan (PSP) and check if any changes have taken place in the curriculum of your degree programme.
