National Repository Library is a repository where all libraries in Finland can send books and journals they do not need. Repository Library is closed repository, so all request must be done via other libraries.
If you are customer of Savonia UAS library, you can make a Universal Borrowing (UB) request to the National Repository Library yourself via Savonia-Finna. If the book is charged, please contact the library customer service. Loans and article copies are free of charge for the Savonia UAS staff and students. Other customers please check the Price list.
Books will be delivered to the library of Savonia UAS. If you have email address in your library patron information, you will receive a notice for pickup. You can renew the loan only via Savonia-Finna. You can renew your UB-loans 10 times only through the Savonia-Finna. You will receive an overdue notice from the National Repository Library if you do not return or renew your loans on time. There are no overdue fines, but unreturned books will be charged by the National Repository Library.
UB-request is easy to make.
